Jon Guenter

Jon is a Winnipeg native. He attended Canadian Mennonite Bible College in the early 90’s. Jon currently lives in Winnipeg with his wife Charlene Koop (CMBC, 1993-95) and daughters Eryn and Abby. He works for the Pembina Trails School Division where he has worked with special needs children for the past 15 years.

Having spent the last number of years as a member of the provincial men’s ultimate team, Jon has only recently come to be involved in competitive cycling. He competes in mountain bike and cylcocross races, as well as the occasional road race. He won a bronze medal at the 2010 Manitoba Cyclocross Provincials in the Men’s 30+ field. He is also involved as a coach for Wolseley Wheels, a mountain bike club for kids.

When he is not riding bike or throwing frisbees, Jon can often be heard playing mandolin and viola for the Paul Bergman band and other local musicians.

    Congratulations on passing Arvid!!!

There are many of us at CMU who’ve been following along with you in spirit.
CMU has been buzzing about Hot Pursuit during coffee breaks, lunch breaks, random encounters in the hallway etc.

As an Admissions Counsellor I’m well aware of the significance of the money raised for our future International students. Thank you for all of your hardcore energy and effort!

Woohoo! Nice footage of you guys on your bikes and in the vehicle. You’ve got a lot of Winnipeg fans cheering you on despite our quiet web presence. May the wind be with you.
